The URAT is a tourist consortium, born from the initiative of some restaurateurs in 1983, today brings together about 130 tourist activities of the eight municipalities of Trasimeno, and is representative of all types of accommodation of the entire district. In collaboration with the local municipal administrations and the Union of Municipalities of Trasimeno, it prepares and implements promotional actions that affect the whole territory, aimed at spreading the Umbria and Trasimeno brand. The promotional initiatives are annual and take the form of the production of a paper and electronic catalog, which is also the tool for promotion and reception in the territory, in the presentation of the territory on the web through the www.lagotrasimeno.net portal, and in the presence at fairs in Italy and abroad, as well as in the realization of other sector initiatives that implement institutional promotion.
